The idea is the following
First i start with a mechanic change.
Reduce all optimal range on weapons, and targeting range on all ships.
add new effect/mechanic - bonus range per turret
Bonus Range = X Amount per each turret (250 m suggested)
If pulse beams have a new optimal of 1000, then bonus range will be 500 per turret giving the following change.
Interceptor - 1000 M
Fighter - 2000 M
Frigate - 3000 M
Pulse beams become
Int - 1250 m
Fighter - 2000 m
Frigate - 3250 m
This will help support longer range weapons on larger craft. so players who want to use
pulse beam on a frigate, wont be 1k, it will be 3000. this will encouarge mid/close range
